Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duncan McAlister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mizushima Muroi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McAlister comes to the cage accompanied by Ylvis - The Fox . Muroi has chosen Get Out - Circa Survive as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Duncan McAlister! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mizushima Muroi! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McAlister wants to slow Muroi down by chopping away at his legs. McAlister throws an overhand right that lands on Muroi's shoulder, as Muroi tries to avoid the shot. McAlister throws out a powerful jab. McAlister throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Muroi on the side of the head. Muroi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of McAlister's head.
It looks like Duncan McAlister has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McAlister swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Duncan McAlister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McAlister scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Muroi throws a nice inside leg kick. Muroi throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. We've been told by McAlister's head coaches at Silverback MMA Academy (Elite + Sauna & 160VM) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Muroi has managed to clinch.
Muroi is trying to break the clinch but McAlister has him pressed against the cage. Muroi lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Muroi working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Muroi goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
McAlister jumps guard and drags Muroi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. There's a bit of a scramble here and now McAlister is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We're going to have a standup here because Duncan McAlister wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Muroi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McAlister. Muroi misses the shot to the body. McAlister slips a jab and a cross from Muroi.
Muroi takes a jab right on the kisser.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Muroi! McAlister is backing up but he can't get away as Muroi lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops McAlister and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mizushima Muroi! Mizushima Muroi seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
