Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Claymore Longshanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Vonny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Claymore Longshanks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Vonny! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longshanks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Longshanks misses with a kick to the body and Vonny counters with a left to the body. Longshanks misses with an uppercut
and Vonny counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Vonny fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Longshanks manages to avoid it. Longshanks dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vonny. That did some damage! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Longshanks throws a left that rocks Vonny and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Longshanks dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Vonny regain composure!
Vonny is rocked!
It looks like Chad Vonny has been cut. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Longshanks is looking to take a break and control but Vonny is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Longshanks tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Longshanks has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Longshanks tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Longshanks goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Vonny has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Longshanks but great work by Vonny.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vonny stands up and we're back to a striking position. Vonny looks to throw the jab but Longshanks is out of range. Longshanks looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Vonny slips a jab and a cross from Longshanks.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Longshanks. Longshanks lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That has opened up Chad Vonny's cut even more. Longshanks has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Longshanks looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Vonny checks a low kick from Longshanks. Longshanks throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Vonny tumbling to the canvas! Vonny can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Longshanks controls the pace. Longshanks has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Vonny is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vonny looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Vonny wants to stand but Longshanks is controlling the position. Longshanks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vonny swivels though and keeps the full guard. Longshanks passes Vonny's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Longshanks tries to pass to full mount but Vonny defends it. Longshanks with the ground and pound but Vonny uses the opportunity to regain guard. Vonny keeping moving, preventing Longshanks from controlling successfully. Longshanks avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Vonny has his foot on Longshanks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Longshanks works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vonny wants to stand up but Longshanks is controlling him. Longshanks has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Longshanks sitting in guard, not really doing much. Vonny is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Longshanks tries to free his leg and advance position but Vonny is retaining full guard. Longshanks slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Vonny is trying to get back to his feet. Vonny is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Longshanks tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Vonny is trying to control Longshanks's posture but Longshanks avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vonny stops Longshanks from passing to mount. Vonny is trying to get back to half guard. Longshanks is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vonny knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Longshanks working the head and body with strikes.
The cut above Chad Vonny's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chad Vonny's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
