Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kameron Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anotonio The Nightmare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chase comes into the arena with "Natural High" - The Union Underground blaring out of the sound system. The Nightmare has chosen Indestructible as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kameron Chase!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anotonio The Nightmare!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Chase or perhaps it was just good defense by The Nightmare which made him look bad.
The Nightmare lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by The Nightmare.


It looks like Kameron Chase has been cut.

Chase gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.


Chase is rocked!
Chase wants to sweep here but The Nightmare controlling him for the moment.

The Nightmare drops back looking for a leg! Chase is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chase manages to kick The Nightmare off! The Nightmare jumps back into Chase's guard.
Chase will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The Nightmare drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and The Nightmare jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The Nightmare drops back looking for a leg! Chase is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chase manages to kick The Nightmare off! The Nightmare jumps back into Chase's guard.

Chase has his foot on The Nightmare's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Nightmare works his way back into a safe position though.

Chase uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Chase shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Chase was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Chase is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. The Nightmare is in real trouble.
Chase tries to get the hooks in deep but The Nightmare pushed the leg off.

The Nightmare turns into Chase and is now in his guard.

The Nightmare tries to free his leg and advance position but Chase is retaining full guard.

The Nightmare postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chase is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of The Nightmare, into his guard.

The Nightmare is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Chase wants to control from the top but The Nightmare keeps moving.
The Nightmare can't keep his opponent in guard - Chase advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Chase is working for a kimura but The Nightmare is defending it quite comfortably.
The Nightmare moves into full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Nightmare has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chase can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Chase bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The Nightmare tries to bench press Chase off him but Chase keeps the position.
The Nightmare prevents Chase from improving position.

Chase thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The Nightmare misses with an elbow from the bottom.
The Nightmare sneaks back into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The Nightmare is trying to maintain the position but Chase is very close to passing his half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Nightmare makes his way to full guard. A much better position for The Nightmare.
Chase stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Nightmare swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The Nightmare had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chase is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. The Nightmare Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chase's back instead.
Chase is in bad spot here.
The Nightmare lands a shot to the head.

Chase holding both The Nightmare 's hands and preventing any damage.

Chase showing good submission defense here.
The Nightmare is trying to stick to Chase's back but Chase is turning into The Nightmare. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in The Nightmare's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Chase.
Chase trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Chase might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The Nightmare looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chase would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The Nightmare working for a triangle but Chase defends it easily.

The Nightmare is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Chase works a leg free and moves into half guard.

The Nightmare looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Chase is trying to control the action in half guard but The Nightmare is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chase tries to pass to full mount but The Nightmare defends it.

Anotonio The Nightmare showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Chase misses with a takedown

and The Nightmare counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Chase!

The Nightmare is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Chase can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The Nightmare swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Chase is now in The Nightmare's guard. A big mistake from The Nightmare there, giving up the dominant position!

The Nightmare working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chase doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chase manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Anotonio The Nightmare has got the better of the ground game so far.

Chase is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but The Nightmare has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Chase is looking to defend but The Nightmare has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Chase! The Nightmare pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Chase taps out and this one is all over!
