Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kortas Kozeris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walters clinches up with Kozeris and pushes him back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Kozeris breaks from the clinch.
Kozeris lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Kozeris throws a head kick but Walters moves out of range.
Kozeris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Walters moves away.
Kozeris throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Walters counters with a nice kick to the body.
Walters goes for a double leg but Kozeris avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kozeris continues to drive forward.
Kozeris scores a nice knee to the body.
Walters fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Walters tries to stall but Kozeris uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Kozeris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Walters goes for a double leg but Kozeris avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kozeris continues to drive forward.
Kortas Kozeris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Walters.

Kozeris throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Walters crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kozeris - the referee stops the clock and Walters gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kozeris. Walters manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Walters is trying desperately to land a takedown but Kozeris is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Walters.

Good leg kick by Kozeris there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kortas Kozeris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kozeris, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
