Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trey Kline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grant Munoz!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munoz tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kline counters with a nice body kick.
Kline throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A low kick from Munoz misses
and Munoz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kline dives in for a single leg takedown but Munoz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Munoz throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kline really is a fat lump.
Kline can't break the clinch.
Kline will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Munoz up against the cage.

Kline is pressed up against the cage. Munoz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kline down to the mat. Kline avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kline tries to clinch but Munoz moves out of range.
Kline shoots for a takedown but Munoz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Munoz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kline paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kline throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Munoz has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Munoz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Munoz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kline is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Munoz is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kline here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

I think Munoz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
