Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Missa Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 3s and 7s. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Okami gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Okami wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Okami is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones is in close to Okami's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Jones controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Okami looking for a sweep. Not yet Okami, not yet.
Okami bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jones's guard.
Okami tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Okami doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Okami manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Okami drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Okami off! Okami jumps back into Jones's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Okami's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Okami has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jones is proving hard to escape from.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Okami. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Okami not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Okami has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Okami's legs - danger averted.

Okami shoots in looking for a takedown but Jones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Okami's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Okami shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
