The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourque slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.


It looks like Chino Bandito has been cut.
Bandito moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Paul Bourque has been cut.
Paul Bourque seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bourque misses with a straight right.
Bourque throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bandito.
Bourque misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bourque misses with a straight left.

Bourque scores with the left hand. Bandito knows he should have avoided that one.
Bourque is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bandito steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bourque.
Bandito uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bourque.
Bandito walks into a jab.
Bourque rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bandito moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bandito throws an overhand right that lands on Bourque's shoulder, as Bourque tries to avoid the shot.
Bandito keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bourque misses with a double jab.
Bourque lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bandito circles away quickly and effectively.
Bourque feints a jab promting Bandito to slip. Bourque then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bandito slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Bourque throws out a loose jab but Bandito uses good head movement to avoid it.
Some wild striking there from Bandito.
Bourque lands a jab-cross combination.
Bourque might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Bourque misses with a lunging right hand
and Bandito cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bourque lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bandito misses with the combination.
Bandito ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A telegraphed right hand from Bourque misses the target.
Bourque lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bandito circles away quickly and effectively.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Bandito moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Bourque! Bandito continues to tee off on Bourque, landing with a left and a right! Bandito connects with a right hand that leaves Bourque sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Bandito!
