Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Milo Broncovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and demian maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). demian maia will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Milo Broncovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, demian maia! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Broncovich stuffs the takedown attempt from maia. maia gets slowly back to his feet. Broncovich shoots in and bounces maia off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Broncovich with a flurry of punches that miss. Broncovich avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Broncovich trying to control but maia is working from the bottom. Broncovich forces his way into half guard. maia should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's one minute gone in the round. maia is trying to get back to full guard. Broncovich is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. maia is looking to control Broncovich's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can maia avoid being mounted? Broncovich is looking to take a break and control but maia is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Broncovich tries to pass to full mount but maia defends it. Broncovich is thwarting maia's attempts to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. maia takes a swing at Broncovich's ribcage but misses. maia misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Broncovich.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Broncovich. Broncovich working the strikes but maia uses the opportunity to regain half guard. maia wants to control but Broncovich is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Broncovich works his foot free and advances to mount. Broncovich wants to control the pace but maia is squirming around nicely. maia working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Broncovich wants to control the pace but maia is squirming around nicely. maia is trying to escape the mount.
maia avoids a series of strikes thrown by Broncovich.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Broncovich sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Milo Broncovich dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
maia misses with a takedown and Broncovich counters with a nice low kick that buckles maia's knee momentarily. Broncovich darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. maia moves into full guard.

Broncovich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. maia swivels though and keeps the full guard. maia avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Broncovich stopping the sweep attempt from maia. maia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Broncovich doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Broncovich manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. maia not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. maia working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Broncovich.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Broncovich shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Broncovich was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! maia tries to lock up and control but Broncovich gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. maia reaches up to try and control the position but Broncovich seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! maia rolls and tries to escape and now Broncovich has his back!
Broncovich is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but maia has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Broncovich knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for maia on the ground. maia breaks Broncovich's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Broncovich is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
maia wants to control from the top but Broncovich keeps moving. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Broncovich holds on and takes a little breather. maia with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Broncovich wants to sweep here but maia controlling him for the moment. Broncovich looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Broncovich wants to improve his position but instead maia has moved into half guard.
maia passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Broncovich! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. maia trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A head kick by maia misses and Broncovich counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Broncovich decides to pull guard. maia wants to control from the top but Broncovich keeps moving. Broncovich is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. maia trying to control but Broncovich is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Broncovich working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. maia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. maia manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. maia loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. maia looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. maia wants to free his trapped foot but Broncovich is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. maia seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. maia passes to full mount! maia wants to control the pace but Broncovich is squirming around nicely. maia fails to take his opponent's back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. maia goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Broncovich is on top in guard.
maia takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. maia lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Broncovich! demian maia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! maia has control of Broncovich's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Broncovich regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. maia landing strikes, looking to finish! maia goes for an armbar but Broncovich turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Broncovich. Broncovich trying to control but maia is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. maia looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that's the end of the fight! demian maia comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Broncovich has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
