Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christensen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Powev circles away from the clinch attempt.
Powev shoots for a double leg takedown but Christensen sprawls well. He's pushed Powev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Christensen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Powev but Powev pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Christensen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Powev manages to avoid it.
Christensen doesn't manage to clinch there - Powev circles away.
Powev throws a shot from downtown. Christensen moves away and avoids it.
Powev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Christensen avoids it really well and circles away.
Christensen shoots in looking for a takedown but Powev manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Christensen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Christensen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Powev tries to close the distance and clinch but Christensen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Christensen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Powev is trying to defend but Christensen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Powev wants to improve his position but Christensen is controlling well.
Powev pushes Christensen off looking to stand but Christensen dives back in and keeps control.
Powev really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Christensen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Christensen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Powev is looking to improve his position.

Christensen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Malcolm Christensen just wasn't active enough.
Christensen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Powev's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Christensen wants to pass the guard but Powev is keeping the position.
Powev is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Christensen has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Powev is trying to keep an underhook but Christensen manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Powev looks winded!
Christensen tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Powev wants to control but Christensen is keeping busy.

Christensen maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Powev could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Christensen has cracked it and Powev is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Christensen!
