Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Fontaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sundar Thapa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fontaine comes to the cage accompanied by P.S. Phuk You Too. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ricky Fontaine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sundar Thapa! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fontaine tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thapa swivels and escapes. Thapa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fontaine shoots in and drives through. Thapa sprawls well.
Thapa gets caught napping as Fontaine dives in and scores a takedown. Thapa manages to retain guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Fontaine loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Thapa keeping full guard, as Fontaine tries to pass. Thapa tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fontaine throwing strikes but missing. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Thapa is on top in guard.

 The ref stands the fighters back up because Ricky Fontaine just wasn't active enough. Fontaine shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thapa sprawls well. Thapa wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fontaine gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Fontaine.  That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. I've been told that Thapa has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game. Fontaine has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Thapa is working away from the top position though. Thapa thows a huge punch but Fontaine dodges it nicely.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fontaine shoots and misses
and Thapa counters with a single leg into guard. Fontaine didn't expect that. Fontaine is trying to control the position but Thapa postures up. Thapa content to stall in guard here. Fontaine pulls Thapa in to control the position.
 We're going to have a standup here because Ricky Fontaine wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Fontaine looks for a takedown but Thapa sprawls well.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Fontaine with a lazy takedown attempt and Thapa counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fontaine thinking. Fontaine shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thapa pinned against the cage. Thapa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fontaine is breathing heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Thapa throwing strikes but missing. Fontaine looking for a sweep. Not yet Fontaine, not yet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Fontaine is working hard here to advance position. Fontaine lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Thapa! Thapa regains half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thapa is looking to control Fontaine's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Thapa avoid being mounted? Fontaine missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Fontaine prevents Thapa from improving his position.
Thapa is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fontaine pulls his head out easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fontaine throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fontaine lands a nice short elbow. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sundar Thapa will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Fontaine shoots in looking for a takedown but Thapa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fontaine's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Thapa has a takedown stuffed. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Thapa. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Thapa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fontaine paws at him with a jab and circles away. Thapa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thapa wants it to stay on the feet. Thapa throws a series of punches but Fontaine moves out of range. Thapa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fontaine closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Thapa did well to prevent Fontaine getting side control. Thapa trying to control but Fontaine postures up.
Thapa is looking for a sweep. Fontaine is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fontaine lands with a punch from half guard. Nice strikes from Fontaine there. Fontaine winds up and cracks Thapa with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fontaine thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fontaine throwing shots but Thapa is blocking nicely. Thapa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Fontaine is working away from the top position though. Thapa is rocked! Fontaine throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Thapa is still in real trouble! Can Fontaine finish him? Thapa trying to control from the bottom.
Thapa seems to have recovered his senses. Fontaine is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Thapa avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fontaine. Fontaine throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Fontaine winds up and cracks Thapa with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Thapa wants to get back to full guard. Fontaine thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Thapa's head. Fontaine lands strikes from half guard. Fontaine with the ground and pound but Thapa uses the opportunity to regain guard. Thapa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Fontaine loads up on a big left hand. Thapa felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Fontaine looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Thapa can't hide his disappointment, as Fontaine celebrates the victory.
