Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Rotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Byron Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rotten comes to the cage accompanied by White Zombie - More Human Than Human. Danielson has chosen The Final Countdown as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danielson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Rotten keeps the fight on the outside.
Danielson fails to land the takedown.
We've been told by Rotten's head coaches at Personal Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Rotten lands a big head kick that sends Danielson tumbling to the mat! Rotten takes a step backwards and waves Danielson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Byron Danielson has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Danielson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rotten defends well and Danielson ends up having to push Rotten into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Rotten fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Danielson's coach down at 11th Planet Fitness ($100/wk) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Danielson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

and Rotten counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Rotten counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A head kick by Danielson misses
and Rotten scores with a counter punch that sends Danielson to the canvas! Rotten smells blood - he's punishing Danielson with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Danielson has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
