Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janis Petke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom The Bell Tolls. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chris Kyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Janis Petke!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petke thuds a left hand into Kyle's body.
Petke cracks a nice hook into Kyle's ribs.
Petke throws a hook to the side of Kyle's head but Kyle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kyle cracks Petke with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Petke jabs Kyle to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kyle misses with a takedown attempt - Petke sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kyle takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like Chris Kyle has been cut.
Kyle takes a swing at Petke's ribcage but misses.
Kyle attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Petke feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kyles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Petke misses the shot to the body.
Kyle misses with a low kick.
Kyle gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Petke.
Petke has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Kyle misses the jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kyle misses with a body kick.
Petke lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The fight stays on the outside here - Petke looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Petke jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Petke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kyle was well out of range. Poor timing from Petke.
Kyle tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Petke is able to avoid easily.
Petke slips a jab from Kyle.
Kyle throws a body kick that misses.
Kyle throws a leg kick but Petke sees it coming and moves out of range.
Petke thows a left - swing and a miss!

Some bone on bone action there as Petke checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Petke scores with a punch to the head.
Kyle will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kyle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Petke.

Kyle looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Petke is holding on to half guard well.
Kyle thows a huge punch but Petke dodges it nicely.
Petke is looking to improve his position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Petke can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kyle is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Kyle breaks from Petke's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Kyle tries to control but Petke wriggling away.
Kyle lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Kyle in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Petke tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kyle lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Petke is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
A nice elbow there by Kyle.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Petke is rocked!
Kyle postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Petke in real trouble here! The ref calls for Petke to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Kyle!
Our winner, Chris Kyle, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
