0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brian OSullivan! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcknight throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. OSullivan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mcknight to the mat! Mcknight manages to get full guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Mcknight is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst OSullivan is controlling him. OSullivan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. OSullivan passes easily into side control. Nice work. OSullivan grinds an elbow into Mcknight's temple. Mcknight tries to bench press OSullivan off him but OSullivan keeps the position. OSullivan trying to control the position but Mcknight is working away. OSullivan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mcknight has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for OSullivan but great work by Mcknight. Mcknight is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, OSullivan has escaped the position, nice work there. Mcknight working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. OSullivan manages to get back to half guard. Mcknight is thwarting OSullivan's attempts to control the position. OSullivan tries to get to full guard but Mcknight has control of the leg. OSullivan manages to get to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcknight postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mcknight trying to control but OSullivan is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if OSullivan can do anything to dispel that myth. Mcknight stands and steps away. OSullivan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Mcknight lands with a nice combination. OSullivan backs away looking to recover. No luck for Mcknight with that takedown attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! OSullivan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. OSullivan working away.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. OSullivan wants to control but Mcknight is keeping him busy.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Brian OSullivan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mcknight goes for a double leg but OSullivan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as OSullivan continues to drive forward.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. OSullivan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mcknight smiles and moves away.

Mcknight tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but OSullivan defends well and Mcknight ends up having to push OSullivan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mcknight defends well against a solid takedown attempt from OSullivan. OSullivan dives in for a single leg takedown but Mcknight sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. OSullivan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mcknight up against the cage. Mcknight wants to take the fight to the mat but OSullivan manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Angel Mcknight. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. OSullivan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

OSullivan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcknight pinned against the cage. Mcknight gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. OSullivan looks for a takedown but Mcknight sprawls well. Mcknight tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Mcknight tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but OSullivan defends well and Mcknight ends up having to push OSullivan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. OSullivan has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Mcknight is trying to keep an underhook but OSullivan manages to get the takedown into half guard. OSullivan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mcknight regains full guard. Nicely done.

Mcknight looking to sit in guard and control but OSullivan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Mcknight has his foot on OSullivan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. OSullivan works his way back into a safe position though.

And that's the end of the fight! Brian OSullivan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well OSullivan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
