Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nate Redknap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ingmar Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ace Of Spades. Ingmar Scott has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nate Redknap's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nate Redknap! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ingmar Scott! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott gets caught napping as Redknap dives in and scores a takedown. Scott manages to retain guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Scott wants to stand up but Redknap is controlling him. Redknap wants to pass the guard but Scott is keeping the position. Redknap stays in close to Scott's body and controls the position. Redknap working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Scott's head. Redknap stands up from guard. Let's bang! Scott fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Scott is looking to clinch but Redknap is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott moves into the clinch successfully.
Redknap escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Scott gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Scott wants to stand and escape but Redknap is having none of it. Redknap has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Scott is proving hard to escape from. The fighters are working up against the cage. Scott manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Redknap pulls guard successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott is looking to clinch but Redknap is avoiding it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Redknap throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Scott has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Redknap is landing a low percentage of strikes. Redknap shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Scott closes the distance and pushes Redknap back into the cage. Redknap wants a takedown.

Redknap can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Scott controls the pace. Scott wants to stand but Redknap is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Redknap pulls Scott in to control the position. Scott wants to stand but Redknap is controlling his posture from full guard. Redknap seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Scott won't allow Redknap to get back to his feet.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ingmar Scott hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Redknap takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Scott wants to clinch but Redknap slips to the side and Redknap counters with a nice double leg into side control. Scott won't be happy with that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Redknap tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Redknap has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Scott taking a bit of punishment here - Redknap scoring with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Redknap misses with the ground and pound. Scott wants to get back to his feet. Scott is not content to let Redknap control the position. Redknap prevents Scott from escaping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nate Redknap dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Redknap shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Scott as he jumps to the side. Nate Redknap seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott with a body punch. A glancing blow. Scott wants to clinch up but Redknap keeps it at a distance. Redknap moves into range and clinches up with Scott. Redknap tries to pull guard but Scott forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Redknap drags the fight down to the ground.

Redknap escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Scott gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Scott must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Redknap looking for a sweep. Not yet Redknap, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott wants to stand but Redknap has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Scott trying to control but Redknap is working from the bottom. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Scott stands up from guard. Let's bang! Redknap shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Scott but Scott pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nate Redknap. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scott tries to clinch up and Redknap counters by clinching up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Redknap has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Scott after a bit of a struggle. Scott works on Redknap's body with a couple of short punches. Redknap can't get the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Redknap has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Scott avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Scott is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Redknap to keep the fight standing. Scott cracks Redknap with a nice body shot. Redknap successfully pulls guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Scott stands up and waves to Redknap to follow him. Scott is looking to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott tries to clinch but Redknap is having none of it. Scott defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Redknap. Scott tries to clinch there but Redknap circles away.
Scott pushes Redknap up against the cage in a clinch. Redknap has Scott pressed against the cage, preventing Scott from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Scott is looking to break free of the clinch but Redknap has double underhooks. Scott blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Redknap manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Scott tries to clinch up but Redknap circles away and keeps his distance. Scott clinches up with Redknap and pushes him back against the cage. Redknap keeps the fight on the outside. Sloppy strikes from Scott. Those never looked like landing. Redknap circles away from the clinch attempt.
Redknap throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Scott's waist but Scott gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Redknap off to one side. Scott is looking to clinch but Redknap is avoiding it.

Redknap looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Scott is looking to clinch. Scott tries to clinch up but Redknap circles away and keeps his distance. Redknap manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Scott on his heels. He'll look to pass Scott's guard now, I'm sure. Scott has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Redknap has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Scott lands with a nice combination. Redknap backs away looking to recover. Scott doesn't manage to clinch there - Redknap circles away.

Redknap is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Redknap tries to stall but Scott uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Scott takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. This has been an exciting period of action! Scott is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Redknap looking for a takedown. A short left from Scott. Redknap has Scott pushed against the cage. Scott has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Redknap changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Scott fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott has closed the distance and engaged Redknap in a clinch.
Scott lands with a right to the head. Redknap keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Scott's efforts to push away. Scott is pressed up against the cage. Redknap has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Scott down to the mat. Scott avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Scott forces Redknap back against the cage and clinches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scott wants to break the clinch but can't.
Redknap is looking to take this one to the mat. Scott will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Redknap up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Ingmar Scott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Scott has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
