Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Efren Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobus Venter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Efren Charles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kobus Venter! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Venter looking to score a takedown here. Charles is defending well but Venter drives through and ends up in Charles's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Charles looking to control.
Venter is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Charles looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Venter lands a couple of digs. Charles avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Venter wants to control from the top but Charles keeps moving. Charles looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Venter passes into side control.
Venter trying to control the position but Charles is working away. Venter tries to stand but Charles is controlling his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Venter wants to lay and pray for a moment but Charles keeps working. Venter tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Venter working away. Venter connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Charles some visible discomfort.
Charles is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Venter's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Venter wants to pass the guard but Charles is defending well. Charles flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Venter seems to be working for a kimura but Charles defends the submission attempt. Charles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Venter working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Venter lands strikes from half guard. Charles wants to control but Venter is keeping busy and won't allow it. Venter uses his free foot to push down on Charles's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Charles. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Charles swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Charles throwing hammer fists to the chest of Venter. What's that going to do exactly? Venter looking to finish Charles with some ground and pound. This is bad for Charles! Charles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Venter on the ground. Venter lands a heavy elbow.
Charles is rocked! Venter tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Oh Charles is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Venter drops a big elbow. That's hurt Charles! More shots from Venter and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
