Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lukasz Szyman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Down Syndrome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lukasz Szyman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Down Syndrome! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Szyman scores with a spinning back kick! Szyman takes the fight into the clinch. Szyman blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Szyman jumps guard and drags Syndrome to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Syndrome stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Szyman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Syndrome being controlled here momentarily. Syndrome stopping the sweep attempt from Szyman.
That's one minute gone in the round. Szyman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Szyman is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Szyman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Syndrome defends well. Szyman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Szyman is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Szyman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Szyman closes the distance and pushes Syndrome back into the cage. Szyman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Syndrome throws a sloppy head kick and Szyman moves out of range easily. Syndrome bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Szyman avoids the head kick by Syndrome.
Szyman closes the distance and clinches up with Syndrome, looking for a takedown. Szyman pushes Syndrome against the cage but Syndrome circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Syndrome throws a nice inside leg kick. A low kick from Syndrome misses and Szyman counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Syndrome pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Syndrome scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Szyman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Syndrome defends well and Szyman ends up having to push Syndrome into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Szyman is breathing heavily. Szyman breaks from the clinch.

Szyman has his hands on Syndrome's head, controlling the position. Syndrome wants to control from the top but Szyman keeps moving. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Syndrome avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Szyman seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Szyman fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lukasz Szyman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A big left from Syndrome misses. Syndrome throws a front kick aimed at Szyman's knee but Szyman avoids it well. Szyman fails with a takedown attempt. Syndrome lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Down Syndrome seems to be getting the better of the standup. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Syndrome turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Syndrome lands a nice leg kick that just misses Szyman's sensitive parts. Szyman is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A lazy left from Syndrome finds it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Down Syndrome showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Szyman gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Syndrome throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Szyman. Szyman decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Syndrome really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Szyman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Syndrome looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Szyman thows a huge punch but Syndrome dodges it nicely.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Szyman lands with a punch from half guard. Szyman escapes and gets back to his feet. A low kick from Syndrome is predictable there enabling Szyman to counter with a crisp jab. Syndrome scores with a leg kick.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Syndrome is looking to slow Szyman down with leg kicks. A head kick by Syndrome misses and Szyman counters with a big head kick but Syndrome shrugs it off. Syndrome connects with a solid leg kick. Szyman lands with a slapping head kick. Szyman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Syndrome lands a nice leg kick that just misses Szyman's sensitive parts. Syndrome feints and then cracks Szyman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Szyman down. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Syndrome throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. A nice leg kick lands there from Syndrome. Good leg kick by Syndrome there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Down Syndrome. I think Syndrome has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
