Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Jazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Rabago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colin Jazz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raymond Rabago!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabago swinging wilding here.
Rabago rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jazz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
No joy there for Rabago, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jazz gets the takedown into side control.


Rabago is rocked!

Jazz goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rabago has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jazz but great work by Rabago.
Rabago is still in real trouble! Can Jazz finish him?
Jazz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rabago wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jazz is pushing Rabago's head away, looking to escape. Rabago manages to hold on to the position though.
Rabago seems to have recovered his senses.

Rabago wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jazz, who protects the arm well.
Jazz tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Rabago trying to control the action but Jazz is working from the bottom.
Jazz is looking to regain half guard here but Rabago keeps moving and retains side control.

Rabago stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jazz fails in his attempt to clinch.

Jazz looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Rabago looks gassed!
Rabago throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Rabago is looking for a triangle but Jazz pushes his legs off easily.
Jazz wants to control from the top but Rabago keeps moving.
Jazz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rabago's head.

Jazz looking to sit in guard and control but Rabago gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jazz looking for a guillotine here but Rabago defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rabago stands up and waves to Jazz to follow him.
Jazz wants to clinch up but Rabago keeps it at a distance.
Rabago looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Jazz clinches.

Rabago drags the fight down to the ground.
Jazz scoring with punches to the head and body.

Jazz has gone for a leg lock! Rabago slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jazz's guard.
Jazz is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Rabago is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Rabago prevents Jazz from getting back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jazz wants to sweep but no luck.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Rabago has eaten all the pies!
Rabago slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Jazz wants to control but Rabago postures up.
Rabago trying to control the position but Jazz is working away.
Jazz is looking to reverse the position.
Jazz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jazz tries to get out of the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Jazz tries to close the distance and clinch but Rabago swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jazz looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Rabago looking for a sweep. Not yet Rabago, not yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Colin Jazz will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Jazz shoots in for a takedown but Rabago shows good takedown defense.

Jazz closes the distance and clinches.
Jazz scores with a shot to the side of Rabago's head.
Jazz jumps guard but Rabago stands there with Jazz around his waist. Jazz gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jazz breaks the clinch.

Jazz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rabago to the mat! Rabago manages to get full guard.
Rabago not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rabago tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rabago manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jazz manages to get himself to full guard.
Rabago won't allow Jazz to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rabago trying to control but Jazz is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jazz wants to sweep but no luck.

Rabago gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
A combination from Jazz does no damage.
Jazz misses with a wild combination.

Rabago shoots in and bounces Jazz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rabago wants to control from the top but Jazz keeps moving.
Rabago with a flurry of punches that miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jazz wants to get back to his feet but Rabago is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rabago chips away with some ground and pound.
Rabago pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jazz is keeping the position for now.
Jazz is trying to control the position but Rabago postures up.
Jazz wants to improve his position but instead Rabago has moved into half guard.
Jazz is looking to improve his position.
Raymond Rabago has got the better of the ground game so far.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rabago lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rabago.

Jazz shoots and misses

and Rabago counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jazz won't be happy with that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colin Jazz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jazz looking for a sweep but Rabago has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Rabago tries to control but Jazz wriggling away.
BOOM! Rabago connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Rabago prevents Jazz from getting the reversal.
Jazz is trying to escape the mount but Rabago keeps good control and instead manages to take Jazz's back.
Jazz is trying to get back to his feet but Rabago has full control of the position and if anything, Jazz has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Jazz tries to break free.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jazz trying to control the hands but Rabago breaks the grip.
Rabago tries to get the hooks in deep but Jazz pushed the leg off.
Rabago softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Rabago has the hooks in. Jazz is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Rabago trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Jazz trying to control but not successfully.
I really don't envy Jazz right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raymond Rabago showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Rabago moves out of range of the leg kick from Jazz.
Jazz connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Rabago tumbling to the canvas! Jazz pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Rabago was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Colin Jazz!
