Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Milan Hoffman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Konijn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milan Hoffman has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Milan Hoffman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Konijn! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoffman rushes Konijn and presses him up against the cage. Hoffman prevents the takedown attempt.
Konijn is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hoffman pulls him back up using the underhooks. Konijn breaks from the clinch.
Hoffman misses with a kick to the body enabling Konijn to counter with a crisp jab. Konijn tries to clinch there but Hoffman circles away.
Nice jab there from Hoffman. Hoffman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Konijn pinned against the cage. Konijn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hoffman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Konijn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hoffman shoots in for a takedown but Konijn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Konijn rushes Hoffman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Konijn looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Konijn is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Konijn can't break the clinch.
Hoffman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Konijn has him pressed against the cage. Hoffman can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Milan Hoffman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hoffman looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hoffman pulls guard effortlessly. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Hoffman has his hands on Konijn's head, controlling the position. Konijn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hoffman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Konijn wants to control from the top but Hoffman keeps moving. Hoffman seems keen to control Konijn's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hoffman with a body punch. A glancing blow. Hoffman closes the distance and clinches up with Konijn, looking for a takedown. Hoffman pushes Konijn against the cage but Konijn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Konijn lands a leg kick that knocks Hoffman off balance momentarily. Konijn tries to clinch but Hoffman moves away and Hoffman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Hoffman connects with a body shot. Hoffman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoffman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hoffman is breathing heavily. A low kick from Hoffman is predictable there and Konijn counters with a nice body kick. Hoffman drives through and clinches with Konijn against the cage.
Konijn goes for a takedown attempt but Hoffman pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Konijn throws a right and a left that both miss. Hoffman has a takedown stuffed. A head kick from Konijn lands but Hoffman takes it in his stride. Hoffman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoffman throws a head kick that misses. Konijn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Konijn wants it to stay on the feet. Konijn darts in trying to clinch and Hoffman counters with a left to the body. Konijn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hoffman forces Konijn back against the cage and clinches. Konijn is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Konijn prevents a takedown attempt there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Konijn breaks the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Andre Konijn will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Konijn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hoffman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Konijn but Konijn pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hoffman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Konijn closes the distance looking to clinch and Hoffman counters with a two punch combo. Konijn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hoffman as he jumps to the side. Konijn connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Konijn is breathing heavily. Konijn tries to clinch up but Hoffman circles away and keeps his distance. Konijn is looking to clinch but Hoffman is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hoffman. Konijn looks to clinch and Hoffman counters with a stiff right hand. Andre Konijn seems to be getting the better of the standup. Konijn falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hoffman counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Hoffman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hoffman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hoffman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hoffman is pulling down on Konijn's head to control his posture. Konijn looking to sit in guard and control but Hoffman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hoffman not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Milan Hoffman wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Hoffman scores with a crisp jab that stopped Konijn in his tracks. Konijn lands a jab to Hoffman's midsection. Hoffman misses with a takedown attempt - Konijn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoffman is trying to break free. Konijn wants to take the fight to the mat but Hoffman manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Konijn is trying to pull guard but Hoffman turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Milan Hoffman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Konijn. Konijn has Hoffman pressed against the cage, preventing Hoffman from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hoffman is trying to force a seperation but Konijn has the dominant position. Konijn is looking to take this one to the mat. Konijn tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Konijn is pressed up against the cage. Hoffman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Konijn down to the mat. Konijn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hoffman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Konijn but Konijn pushes him off and we're back to square one. Konijn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Konijn wants it to stay on the feet.

Konijn looking to slow down the pace here. Hoffman jumps guard and drags Konijn to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hoffman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hoffman pushes Konijn off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hoffman goes for a double leg but Konijn avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Konijn continues to drive forward. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hoffman is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hoffman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Konijn swivels and escapes. Konijn misses with a double jab.
Konijn goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Konijn throws a sloppy head kick and Hoffman moves out of range easily. Hoffman shoots in looking for a takedown but Konijn manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hoffman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hoffman circles away from the clinch attempt and Hoffman counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Hoffman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Hoffman. No joy for Konijn on that attempt. Hoffman has closed the distance and engaged Konijn in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Konijn tries to clinch and Hoffman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hoffman. Hoffman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Konijn gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Konijn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Konijn tries to land a front kick but Hoffman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Konijn throws a head kick that misses. Hoffman keeps the fight on the outside. Konijn stuffs the takedown. Konijn slaps away a takedown attempt from Hoffman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hoffman shoots in but Konijn avoids the takedown attempt easily. No luck for Hoffman with that takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Konijn closes the distance and clinches. Konijn tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hoffman just stands there and leans against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Hoffman's face as he tries to break the clinch. Hoffman has Konijn pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Konijn manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hoffman wants to get back to striking at distance but Konijn won't allow it.
Konijn is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Konijn on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hoffman tries to work over Konijn's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Andre Konijn. I think Konijn has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
