Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brant Pugh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddie Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brant Pugh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Freddie Gibbs! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pugh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Pugh controlling the pace. Pugh wants to pass to mount but Gibbs is defending the position. Pugh is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Gibbs manages to get to full guard.
Pugh stands up from guard. Let's bang! Pugh really is a fat lump. Pugh throws a right and a left that Gibbs avoids nicely. Gibbs misses with a few strikes there.
Gibbs misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Gibbs swinging wildly here.
Pugh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gibbs is fending him off so far but Pugh persists. Nope, Gibbs circles away and we're back to standing. Pugh takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Brant Pugh has been cut. An inside leg kick lands from Gibbs. Gibbs throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pugh on the side of the head. Gibbs swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pugh counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Pugh. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pugh tries to break the clinch but Gibbs is controlling the position. Gibbs fails to pull guard.
Pugh jumps guard and drags Gibbs to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Pugh throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Gibbs trying to control the position from guard on top but Pugh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Gibbs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pugh swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gibbs advances to half guard. Pugh is breathing heavily. Still in half guard, Gibbs seems content to control. Pugh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gibbs on the ground.
Gibbs is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pugh sees it coming and defends easily. Gibbs wants to control but Pugh is keeping him busy. Pugh wants to improve his position but Gibbs is controlling well.
Gibbs trying to control the action but Pugh is working from the bottom. Pugh tries to roll over but Gibbs keeps him under control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gibbs trying to control from half guard but Pugh is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 OK we're going to have a standup here. Freddie Gibbs hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Pugh with a nice cross. An inside leg kick lands from Gibbs. Pugh tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Gibbs misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gibbs scores with a spinning back kick! Gibbs throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Freddie Gibbs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gibbs works the jab nicely. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gibbs throws a front kick that sends Pugh stumbling back into the cage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Gibbs scores with a head kick. Pugh tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Gibbs plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Pugh seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Gibbs shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Pugh is backing up but Gibbs catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Pugh covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Gibbs Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Freddie Gibbs! Freddie Gibbs thanked the fans post fight for their support.
