Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colby Hines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Krautnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Felix Krautnik enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Colby Hines!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felix Krautnik!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krautnik fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Krautnik tries to clinch but Hines moves out of range.
Krautnik fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Krautnik shoots for a double leg takedown but Hines sprawls well. He's pushed Krautnik's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Colby Hines has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felix Krautnik.
Krautnik stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Krautnik wants it to stay on the feet.
Hines really is a fat lump.
Hines misses with a takedown attempt - Krautnik sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Krautnik closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Hines tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Krautnik looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hines with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hines tries to roll over but Krautnik keeps him under control.
Krautnik wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hines keeps working.
Hines keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Hines has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Krautnik is working away from the top position though.
Krautnik lands strikes from half guard.
Krautnik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hines. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hines avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Krautnik.
Hines trying to control but Krautnik postures up.
Krautnik trying to mount his opponent but Hines defends it.
Krautnik thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hines is not content to let Krautnik control the position.
Hines wants to control but Krautnik is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Krautnik wants to control but Hines is keeping him busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hines throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Krautnik on the side of the head.

Krautnik has taken the fight to the clinch.

Krautnik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hines tries to clinch there but Krautnik circles away.
Krautnik is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hines sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hines changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Krautnik tries to avoid it but Hines manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Krautnik to the ground. Krautnik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hines clinches with his opponent.
Krautnik makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Krautnik breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hines scores with a jab to the jaw.
Krautnik keeps the fight on the outside.
Hines goes for a double leg but Krautnik avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Krautnik continues to drive forward.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hines drags the fight down to the ground.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Hines manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Krautnik breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Krautnik shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Krautnik was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Krautnik thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Felix Krautnik dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Krautnik looks to land a body kick but Hines moved away.
Krautnik tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hines paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hines tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Krautnik swivels and escapes.
Colby Hines is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hines's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hines duly obliges.
Hines looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Krautnik is fending him off so far but Hines persists. Nope, Krautnik circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hines is defended easily by Krautnik.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Colby Hines. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hines lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Krautnik backs up against the cage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hines.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hines shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Krautnik wants to improve his position but Hines is controlling well.
Krautnik is trying to maintain the position but Hines is very close to passing his half guard.
Krautnik wants to get back to his feet.
Hines thows a huge punch but Krautnik dodges it nicely.

Hines thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Krautnik's head.
Hines slows the pace down in half guard.
Krautnik is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hines perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hines works his way into full mount!

Krautnik avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hines.
Krautnik reaches up to try and control the position but Hines seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Krautnik rolls and tries to escape and now Hines has his back!

Krautnik is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Hines working for a choke but Krautnik is defending well.
Hines has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Krautnik's body.

Krautnik plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Krautnik wants to clinch up but Hines keeps it at a distance.

Krautnik is trying to pull guard but Hines has him pressed against the cage.
Hines wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Krautnik drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hines pulls his leg out and moves away.

Hines throws a sloppy head kick and Krautnik moves out of range easily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Krautnik looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hines tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Krautnik manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hines is trying hard to land a takedown here. Krautnik sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hines gets tackled into the cage by Krautnik. Krautnik maintains the clinch.
Krautnik drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hines pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hines looks to land a combination but Krautnik avoids it well.
Krautnik tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hines swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Krautnik has a takedown stuffed.
Hines looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Krautnik goes for a double leg but Hines avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hines continues to drive forward.
Hines is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Krautnik pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Hines is trying to pull guard but Krautnik turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Hines wants to get back to striking at distance but Krautnik won't allow it.
Hines tries to work over Krautnik's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Krautnik has Hines pressed against the cage, preventing Hines from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Krautnik is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Hines jumps guard but Krautnik turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Krautnik breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Krautnik closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hines quickly recovers to half guard.
Krautnik landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Hines wants to get back to full guard.
Hines pushes Krautnik off looking to stand but Krautnik dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hines is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

I would just about give that final round to Felix Krautnik.
I think Krautnik has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
