6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aslak Joikhaaja! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joikhaaja tries for a takedown but Man sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Man lands with an uppercut that bounces Joikhaaja off the cage and back into range. Man with a nice cross. Man misses with a looping left. Man closes the distance and lands a one-two. Joikhaaja shoots in for a double leg but Man sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Man keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Chester Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aslak Joikhaaja. Joikhaaja shoots in for a double leg but Man sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Joikhaaja fails with the takedown and Man counters with a left to the body. Joikhaaja shoots in and drives through. Man sprawls well. Man looks to land a left hand but Joikhaaja moved out of range nicely. Man paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Man swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Joikhaaja uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Man. Joikhaaja misses with a takedown and Man counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Man missing with a left hand there. Joikhaaja was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Man throws a jab but it's blocked by Joikhaaja.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big left from Man misses. Joikhaaja shoots in but no luck this time. Man defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Joikhaaja. Joikhaaja on the wrong end of a nice hook. Joikhaaja tries to score a power double leg takedown but Man sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Joikhaaja somewhat. Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Joikhaaja gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Man. Man's jab looks to have found its range, popping Joikhaaja under the eye.
Joikhaaja is rocked! Joikhaaja shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Man counters with a huge right that knocks Joikhaaja out cold! Man is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
