The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
J throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A solid body kick from Average.
A lazy body kick from J
and Average makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
J looks to clinch
and Average counters with a slapping leg kick.
Average bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
J takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nice straight punches there by Average. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Average.
Average stuffs the takedown.
J tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Average paws at him with a jab and circles away.
J blocks a head kick by Average.
Average clinches with his opponent.
J manages to break the clinch.
Average lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice shot by Average.
Average connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
J thuds his shin into the meat of Average's side.
Average lands a head kick. J smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Average connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Average tests J's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Average connects with a high kick.
J on the wrong end of a nice jab.
J is rocked!
BOOM! Average lands a beautiful left hook that drops J. J tries to recover but Average is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and J lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Average!
