Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Calaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Ding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calaway's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, R.I.P.. Ding has chosen Mortal Kombat as his entrance music. Mark Calaway has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Calaway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Dick Ding! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.

Nice jab there from Calaway. Calaway wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Ding uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Calaway.
Calaway keeps the fight on the outside. Ding is looking to clinch but Calaway is avoiding it.
Calaway connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Calaway throws a hook to the side of Ding's head but Ding sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ding defending well as Calaway loads up on a big left hand. Ding's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Calaway connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ding scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Dick Ding has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Ding tries to clinch but Calaway moves out of range. Calaway misses with a double jab
and Ding makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Calaway really felt that one! Mark Calaway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. An inside leg kick lands from Ding. Ding slips a jab from Calaway. Ding blocks a jab.

A looping hook to the body misses from Calaway. Ding does a little dance to reset his feet. Calaway has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Calaway throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Decent striking displayed by Calaway there. Ding defending well as Calaway loads up on a big left hand. Calaway throws the left hand but Ding avoids the punch easily. Ding lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Calaway defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ding. Ding takes one to the chin there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ding throws a body punch but Calaway moves out of range.

Calaway has had enough of the clinch but Ding keeps him there for the moment. With the fighters up against the cage, Ding throws an elbow but misses. Calaway can't find room to land a body shot as Ding controls the action.

enabling Ding to counter with a crisp jab. Ding is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Calaway throws a shot from downtown. Ding moves away and avoids it.
Calaway rushes Ding and presses him up against the cage. Ding tries to throw a body punch but Calaway avoids it by throwing Ding back against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Calaway misses with the head strike.
Ding lands an elbow just above Calaway 's eye. Nice elbow from Ding. Ding is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mark Calaway will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A looping hook to the body misses from Calaway. Ding does a little dance to reset his feet. Ding bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Calaway misses the jab. Calaway swings widly with a right hand
and Ding holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Ding lands an elbow just above Calaway 's eye. Calaway tries to throw a body punch but Ding avoids it by throwing Calaway back against the cage. Ding pushes off an throws an elbow but Calaway leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Ding scores with an uppercut up the middle. Ding lands an elbow inside. A nice glancing elbow lands by Ding. Ding leaning his opponent against the cage. Ding pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Ding blocks a body shot from Calaway. Calaway is working Ding over against the cage. Ding blocking some punches.

Calaway gets through Ding's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Calaway misses with the head strike.

We're back to striking at a distance. Ding tries to clinch but Calaway moves out of range. Mark Calaway is winning the standup battle so far. Ding slips under a jab from Calaway. Calaway lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Ding lands a two punch combo.
Calaway lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Calaway fails to land with a series of punches.
Calaway throws a lazy uppercut
and Ding counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mark Calaway is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Calaway lands with a good body shot. Ding tries to clinch there but Calaway circles away.
Ding tries to close the distance and clinch up but Calaway swats him away and circles back towards the center. A swing and a miss from Calaway.

Ding avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Ding looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Calaway scores with a hook to the body. Ding takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Ding slips a jab from Calaway. Jab by Calaway. Calaway takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ding is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Ding makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. With the fighters up against the cage, Calaway throws an elbow but misses. Ding pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ding blocks an uppercut.
Ding lands an elbow inside. A battle for position here, against the cage. A head punch on the inside from Calaway fails to land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Calaway dominated that second round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
A jab from Calaway misses. A jab from Calaway finds it's way through Ding's defenses. Ding wants to clinch letting Calaway counter with a right hand. Calaway thuds his right hand into Ding's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ding jabbing away but nothing is landing. Calaway misses with an uppercut
and Ding counters with a nice double leg into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ding is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Calaway is concentrating on defense, preventing Ding from advancing position. Calaway has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ding is working away from the top position though. Ding thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ding connects with a nice short shot to Calaway's temple. Calaway is pressing down on Ding's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ding is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ding trying to control but Calaway is working from the bottom. Calaway utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ding forces his way into half guard.
Ding escapes and gets back to his feet. Mark Calaway is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Ding tries to close the distance and clinch but Calaway swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ding moves in looking to clinch but Calaway pushes him off.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Ding pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Calaway misses with the head strike.

Calaway breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Calaway forces Ding back against the cage and clinches. Ding creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Calaway is looking to break free of the clinch but Ding has double underhooks. A nice right hand lands inside from Ding. Calaway wants to break free but Ding has control.
Mark Calaway is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Calaway avoids the elbow strike from Ding, against the cage.

Ding has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Calaway avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ding throws an elbow but it's blocked.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ding is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Calaway is defending well for now. Dick Ding has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ding fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
And that's the end of the fight! Dick Ding comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Calaway has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Mark Calaway! Mark Calaway decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
