Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Kilmster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Lola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilmster kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Maylene & The Sons of Disaster - Darkest of Kin. Don Lola has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Kilmster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Don Lola! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Lola finds it's way through Kilmster's defenses. A looping hook to the body misses from Lola. Kilmster does a little dance to reset his feet. Lola swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kilmster. Lola throws a low kick but Kilmster moves out of range easily. Kilmster misses the jab. Kilmster misses with a wild combination.
Lola misses with a double jab.
Kilmster tries to land a leg kick but Lola saw it coming and moves away.
Lola ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kilmster moves away. Kilmster swings for the body but Lola moves out of range.
Kilmster works over Lola's head and body with a nice combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kilmster misses with a double jab
and Lola cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The fighters circling - Kilmster throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lola moves away from the strike by Kilmster. Kilmster misses with a body shot.
Jake Kilmster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kilmster throws a series of punches but Lola moves out of range. Kilmster connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lola's hands. Kilmster walks into a stiff left hand from Lola. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kilmster.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kilmster postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Kilmster working the ground and pound. Kilmster wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lola keeps working. Lola takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kilmster advances nicely into full mount. Lola holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Kilmster tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Kilmster throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lola because Kilmster loaded up on that one. Kilmster moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Lola has worked his arm free - good work by Lola!
Check out the look on Kilmster's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. You can see the frustration on Lola's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kilmster swings around for an armbar but Lola sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kilmster's guard. Kilmster tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kilmster has his foot on Lola's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lola works his way back into a safe position though. Kilmster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Kilmster wants to sweep here but Lola controlling him for the moment. Kilmster manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kilmster lands a nice shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lola doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Kilmster with a couple of short strikes. Kilmster looking to finish with strikes here!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lola is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Kilmster breaks from Lola's wrist control and lands an elbow. Lola tries to lock up and control but Kilmster gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kilmster throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Lola because Kilmster loaded up on that one. Kilmster unloads with some shots from mount but Lola bucks and avoids them well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lola manages to regain half guard. Good work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kilmster not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kilmster missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kilmster trying to mount his opponent but Lola defends it. Kilmster sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lola defending well though. Kilmster not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lola is looking to escape. Lola avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kilmster. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kilmster is thwarting Lola's attempts to control the position. Kilmster throwing shots but Lola is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Kilmster dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kilmster bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kilmster working the ground and pound from side control. Lola is looking for a sweep. Sloppy strikes there by Kilmster. Kilmster landing strikes. Lola avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kilmster. Lola is looking to reverse the position. Kilmster tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lola's legs. Kilmster lands an elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kilmster working the head with strikes. What's Lola going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kilmster works to advance to full mount. Lola defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Kilmster lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kilmster thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Kilmster throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Kilmster connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Lola is bucking up trying to escape but Kilmster cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kilmster lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Lola hang on? Kilmster dominating with strikes here.
Lola is rocked! A big strike lands for Kilmster! That's really hurt Lola and he's turned his back - Kilmster keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kilmster jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
