The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodquivez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jones.
Rodquivez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones walks into a straight right hand from Rodquivez.
Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jones moves to clinch but Rodquivez breaks away
and Rodquivez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Rodquivez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones dives in and grabs Rodquivez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rodquivez pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rodquivez drops Jones with a beautiful combination! Jones stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rodquivez is looking for the KO!
It looks like Jason Jones has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rodquivez batters Jones with a massive right followed by a huge left! Jones is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Rodquivez lands a final crushing right hand to drop Jones to the mat with a gruesome thud! Rodquivez is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
