Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Troy Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Oyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Troy Foreman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinji Oyama! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foreman looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Oyama tries to clinch but fails miserably and Foreman counters by clinching up. Oyama is trying to pull guard but Foreman turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Foreman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Oyama fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Foreman is looking to clinch but Oyama is avoiding it.
Oyama swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Foreman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oyama as he jumps to the side. Some bone on bone action there as Foreman checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Foreman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Oyama scores with a takedown into Foreman's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oyama slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foreman on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foreman misses with a strike from the bottom. Oyama misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Oyama controls the position. Oyama throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Foreman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oyama on the ground. Oyama thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Oyama prevents Foreman from escaping the position. An elbow from Oyama crashes against the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Oyama decides to stand back up. Oyama tries to clinch but Foreman is having none of it. Foreman lands a head kick!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Foreman fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Troy Foreman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Oyama stuffs the takedown. Foreman fails with the takedown. Foreman is breathing heavily. Foreman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oyama as he jumps to the side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oyama drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Oyama works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Oyama advances to full mount. Oyama has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Oyama controlling the pace for now. Foreman is looking to improve his position but Oyama isn't that keen on the idea. Oyama lands a couple of good shots and Foreman has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oyama is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Oyama's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Well, with Oyama on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Foreman is tapping out... Can he escape the position? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Oyama sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Foreman taps out!
