Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dustin Waller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Major Pain! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waller shoots in looking for a takedown. Pain tries to sprawl out of it but Waller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pain misses with a head kick.
Pain drives through with a takedown into Waller's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Pain wants to pass the guard but Waller is keeping the position. Waller tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pain is sitting in close to Waller's body. Waller has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pain is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pain is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Waller.
