Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Spider connects with a single shot there.
Pei circles away from the clinch attempt.
Spider scores with a jab to the jaw.
Pei throws a nice looking combination but Spider bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pei takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Wei Pei has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Whack! Spider lands a heavy head kick that drops Pei. The ref tackles Spider to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Pei was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Rinky Spider! Rinky Spider retains his super heavyweight title!
Rinky Spider decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
