Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charley Mcpherson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buaka Pramuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buaka Pramuk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charley Mcpherson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Buaka Pramuk!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcpherson swings and misses with a shot to the body
enabling Pramuk to counter with a crisp jab.
Mcpherson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pramuk goes for a double leg but Mcpherson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mcpherson continues to drive forward.

Mcpherson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Mcpherson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pramuk moves into full guard.
Pramuk throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Mcpherson postures up.
Mcpherson slips nicely into half guard.
Well, if Mcpherson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Pramuk wants to control but Mcpherson is keeping busy.
Mcpherson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pramuk with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcpherson tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Pramuk is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mcpherson pulls his head out easily.

Mcpherson is controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Charley Mcpherson wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Mcpherson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Pramuk wants to control but Mcpherson is keeping busy.
Pramuk should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mcpherson wants to pass to mount but Pramuk is defending the position.
Mcpherson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Mcpherson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Mcpherson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Pramuk tries to kick Mcpherson off but Mcpherson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mcpherson blocks the strikes from Pramuk.

Mcpherson tries to pass to full mount but Pramuk defends it.
Pramuk is pressing down on Mcpherson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Mcpherson passes into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pramuk keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Mcpherson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Pramuk gets caught flat footed, as Mcpherson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Pramuk looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mcpherson wants to stand and escape but instead Pramuk has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Mcpherson pulls Pramuk in close to his closed guard and prevents Pramuk from doing any damage or advancing position.
Pramuk looking to sit in guard and control but Mcpherson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mcpherson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Mcpherson wants to control from the top but Pramuk keeps moving.

Charley Mcpherson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Mcpherson tries a head kick but it misses.

Mcpherson gets a clinch.
Mcpherson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pramuk walks away with a smile on his face. Mcpherson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mcpherson shoots for a double leg takedown but Pramuk sprawls well. He's pushed Mcpherson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mcpherson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pramuk tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mcpherson is in Pramuk's guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mcpherson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mcpherson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Pramuk wants to control the position but Mcpherson says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Pramuk is breathing heavily.

Mcpherson is looking to advance position but Pramuk won't allow it.

Pramuk is defending against the submission attempts here by Mcpherson.
Charley Mcpherson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Mcpherson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pramuk keeps working.

Mcpherson is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Charley Mcpherson just wasn't active enough.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mcpherson slows the pace down.

Mcpherson moves into the clinch.

Mcpherson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Pramuk postures up in Mcpherson's guard and throws a big left but Mcpherson blocks it.
Pramuk wanted to stand there but Mcpherson had control of the position.
Mcpherson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mcpherson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mcpherson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Pramuk tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mcpherson swivels and escapes.

Mcpherson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcpherson lands in his opponent's guard.

Pramuk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Pramuk tries to get to full guard but Mcpherson has control of the leg.

Mcpherson throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Pramuk has his hands clasped together but Mcpherson breaks the hold and Pramuk is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Mcpherson!
