The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rinne tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vice swivels and escapes.

Rinne rushes Vice and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rinne is leaning against Vice and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Rinne breaks the clinch.
Vice doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Rinne counter with a right hand.
Rinne looks to land a right hand but Vice moved out of range.
A big left from Rinne misses.
Vice tries for a takedown but Rinne sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Rinne counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Vice's guard now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brittany Vice. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vice has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rinne can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rinne tries to stand but Vice is controlling from the bottom.

Rinne trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Vice manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Rinne pulls Vice in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vice drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rinne dives on top into guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rinne tries to free his leg and advance position but Vice is retaining full guard.

Rinne has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Vice is proving hard to escape from.

Vice looking for a triangle here. Rinne is fighting it but it looks tight! Vice pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Rinne is tapping out - this one is all over!
