The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marsden cracks Eberhart with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Eberhart is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Jef Li's MMA(13 coaches, 49 cap) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Eberhart is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marsden is just riding it out for now. Eberhart eventually gives up the hold.

Horrible takedown by Eberhart or perhaps it was just good defense by Marsden which made him look bad.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Marsden throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Eberhart.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Eberhart crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Marsden - the referee stops the clock and Eberhart gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Marsden. Eberhart manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Eberhart darts in looking for a takedown but Marsden gets double underhooks and turns Eberhart into the cage.
