Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jefferson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Silva somewhat.
Silva looks to clinch
and Jefferson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jefferson.
Jefferson gets underhooks to prevent Silva's takedown attempt.
Silva is pressed up against the cage. Jefferson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jefferson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Silva tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jefferson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Wallace Jefferson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ale Silva.

Jefferson dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Jefferson's head and hops out.
Jefferson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away.

Silva throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jefferson was covering up waiting for the punch and Silva finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jefferson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jefferson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jefferson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ale Silva hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jefferson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Jefferson persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jefferson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice straight punches there by Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silva.

That was a close round but I would say that Wallace Jefferson will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Ale Silva.
Well Jefferson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
