Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Smolder Stoner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and El Jefe Trujillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trujillo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by El Jefe Intro. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, El Jefe Trujillo! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trujillo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've been hearing reports that Stoner has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Some bone on bone action there as Stoner checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Trujillo throws a head kick that Stoner semi-blocks.
Trujillo rushes Stoner and presses him up against the cage. Trujillo stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Trujillo keeps control of Stoner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Stoner throws a right and a left that both miss. Trujillo's coach down at Hey Steve's Fight Shack was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Trujillo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Trujillo tries to clinch up but Stoner circles away and keeps his distance. Stoner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Stoner slips a jab from Trujillo. Trujillo tries to clinch up. Trujillo misses with an attempted mid kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stoner displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Trujillo. Trujillo misses with a wild body shot. Trujillo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Stoner! Stoner is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Trujillo landing strikes. Trujillo wants to control but Stoner is keeping him busy. Trujillo throws an elbow but Stoner slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stoner gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Stoner tries to kick Trujillo off but Trujillo keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Trujillo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stoner keeps working. Stoner is looking to escape. Stoner avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Trujillo. Trujillo prevents Stoner from improving his position. This has been an exciting period of action! Trujillo is looking for a kimura here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stoner pushes Trujillo off looking to stand but Trujillo dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Jefe Trujillo dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Trujillo throws a sloppy head kick and Stoner moves out of range easily. Trujillo shoots in looking for a takedown but Stoner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trujillo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Stoner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Trujillo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Trujillo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Trujillo misses with a head kick.
El Jefe Trujillo seems to be getting the better of the standup. Stoner misses with the combination.
Trujillo lands with a slapping head kick. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trujillo. Some wild striking there from Stoner.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trujillo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Stoner rushes Trujillo and presses him up against the cage. Stoner is looking to break free of the clinch but Trujillo has double underhooks. Trujillo blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Stoner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Trujillo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stoner sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Smolder Stoner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of El Jefe Trujillo. Trujillo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Trujillo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stoner was covering up waiting for the punch and Trujillo finishes the takedown easily into guard. Trujillo trying to control but Stoner is working from the bottom. Stoner is looking to stand up but Trujillo isn't so interested in that idea. El Jefe Trujillo has got the better of the ground game so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Trujillo scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Trujillo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
El Jefe Trujillo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Trujillo tries to clinch but Stoner moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stoner throws a nice looking combination but Trujillo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Trujillo wants to slow Stoner down by chopping away at his legs. Trujillo shoots in and bounces Stoner off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Trujillo postures up in Stoner's guard and throws a big left but Stoner blocks it. Stoner has a closed guard, preventing Trujillo from standing up. Stoner pulls Trujillo in close to prevent any damage. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Smolder Stoner. Trujillo tries a low kick but Stoner avoids it.

Stoner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Trujillo. Stoner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smolder Stoner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Trujillo throws a lazy head kick and Stoner counters with a left and a right that stings Trujillo. Trujillo loads up on a big right hand but Stoner slips the punch. The fight stays on the outside here - Trujillo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Trujillo tries a head kick but it misses.

Trujillo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Stoner shoots in but Trujillo avoids the takedown attempt easily. Stoner avoids the head kick by Trujillo.
Trujillo lands a head kick. Stoner smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Trujillo throws a big shot that misses. Trujillo wants to clinch up but Stoner keeps it at a distance. El Jefe Trujillo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Trujillo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

And that's the end of the fight! El Jefe Trujillo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Trujillo winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... El Jefe Trujillo! El Jefe Trujillo tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
