Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mickey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mickey misses with a body kick. James tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mickey swats him away and circles back towards the center. James tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mickey swivels and escapes. Mickey closes the distance looking to clinch and James counters with a flying knee. Nice. James scores with a takedown into Mickey's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. James trying to control but Mickey is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James stays in close to Mickey's body and controls the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! James works over Mickey with some ground and pound from guard. James is fighting to break Mickey's control of his arms but Mickey is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. James wants to control from the top but Mickey keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jon James wasn't doing enough on the ground. Mickey darts in looking for a takedown but James gets double underhooks and turns Mickey into the cage. James ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. James no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Mickey got a little sloppy there for a moment and James has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mickey has managed to get both his arms back between James's legs - danger averted. Mickey sitting in guard here, content to control. James is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mickey content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mickey is looking to stand up but James won't let him. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. James is trying to control the position but Mickey postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jon James just wasn't active enough. James pushes Mickey up against the cage in a clinch. James working some nice short punches in the clinch. James changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mickey fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mickey. Mickey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mickey fails in his attempt to clinch. James throws a series of punches but Mickey avoids them all with ease. James tries for a takedown but Mickey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon James. That's going to take a lot out of him. James tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mickey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten James somewhat. Mickey keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
James dives in and grabs Mickey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mickey pushes down on James's head and hops out. James dives in for a single leg takedown but Mickey sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mickey. Mickey is looking to take this one to the mat. James has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mickey clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Mickey holding both James 's hands and preventing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. James trying to control momentarily.
James not allowing Mickey to control his hands. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James is looking for the choke from the back position but Mickey is controlling his hands well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Mickey!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mickey wants to escape the position.
Mickey is still trying to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon James dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
No luck with that takedown attempt from James. Mickey should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. James doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. James shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mickey napping and manages to drive through into side control! James moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. James advances nicely into full mount. James has control of Mickey's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mickey regains control of the situation pretty easily.
James throws some wild stikes that Mickey manages to avoid easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. James can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Mickey is looking to escape. Mickey is trying to reverse the position but instead James has taken his back - oops! James avoiding Mickey 's attempts to control his hands. James is looking for the choke from the back position but Mickey is controlling his hands well. Mickey looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. James is looking to control Mickey but Mickey is wriggling around and keeping busy. James throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James is hanging on to Mickey's back as he tries to escape.
James is trying to stick to Mickey's back but Mickey is turning into James. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in James's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Mickey. Mickey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. James is keeping the position for now. Mickey content to stall in guard here. James doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
James manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mickey really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mickey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. James cracks Mickey with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting James here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. James looking to control and managing it successfully. James trying to control but Mickey is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mickey wants to control but James is having none of it. James putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
It looks like John Mickey has been cut. James looking to control but Mickey is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James avoids the attempt from Mickey to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon James dominated that second round. The cut man is working on John Mickey's cut. That's time! James's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Nice sprawl there from Mickey as James shoots in. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from James. Mickey tries to sprawl but James drives through with a takedown into half guard. James not landing any meaningful shots this time. James drops an elbow to the side of Mickey's head. Mickey is looking to control James's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mickey avoid being mounted? James works his way into side control. Mickey takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. James scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mickey to see if he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. James has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Mickey! Mickey wants to hold on but James pushes him away. James wants to control the pace but Mickey is squirming around nicely. Mickey is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. James working Mickey over with strikes here. James unloading with bombs! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mickey can do anything to dispel that myth. A nice elbow there by James. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mickey is trying desperately to improve position. James with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James tries to control but Mickey wriggling away. Mickey takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Mickey is working to get back to half guard.
James lands a couple of good shots and Mickey has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The cut above John Mickey's eye is starting to cause him problems now. James struggling to keep hold of the position.
Mickey is taking damage to the body and head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Mickey's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jon James! After the fight, Jon James was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
