The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

da Silva is bucking up trying to escape but Edwards cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
da Silva is looking to improve his position but Edwards isn't that keen on the idea.

da Silva tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Edwards loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have da Silva scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Edwards land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Edwards stands and salutes the crowd.
