Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Claude Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norton misses with a head kick.
Silva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Norton avoids it really well and circles away.
Norton slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Norton moves out of range as Silva throws a body kick.
Norton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Norton persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Norton shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Norton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Norton. Norton gets slowly back to his feet.

Norton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.

Silva tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Norton defends well and Silva ends up having to push Norton into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Norton is fighting off a takedown attempt but Silva is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Norton to the mat. Norton regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
