Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Freeman Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freeman Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Master Miyagi! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miyagi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Miyagi tries to pass to full mount but Perry defends it. Perry avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Miyagi. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miyagi is thwarting Perry's attempts to control the position. Miyagi wants to control but Perry is keeping him busy. Miyagi is controlling the pace.
Miyagi prevents Perry from improving his position. Miyagi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry actively working from the bottom here. Miyagi moves into full mount! Perry won't be happy about that! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miyagi won't let Perry get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Miyagi controlling from mount. Perry is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Miyagi landing punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry working to try and regain half guard.
Miyagi looking to control but Perry is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Miyagi with shots to the head and body - Perry looks very uncomfortable down there. Miyagi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Perry keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Miyagi controlling from the full mount. Perry is squirming around, avoiding Miyagi's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miyagi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Perry tries to get back to half guard but can't. Perry holds on to Miyagi around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks. Perry tries to get back to half guard but can't. My spies in Cozad MMA Las Vegas inform me that Miyagi has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Perry is squirming around, avoiding Miyagi's attempts to control the action. Perry reaches up to try and control the position but Miyagi seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Perry rolls and tries to escape and now Miyagi has his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perry staying busy and making it hard for Miyagi to control. Miyagi is looking for the choke from the back position but Perry is controlling his hands well. I would not like to be Perry right now.
Miyagi lands shots from the back. Perry grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Perry is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Perry showing good submission defense here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Master Miyagi dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Miyagi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Perry fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Miyagi is out of range. Miyagi is looking to clinch. Perry looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Perry throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Miyagi tries to close the distance and clinch but Perry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Some wild striking there from Miyagi.
Perry throws a head kick that misses. Perry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyagi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Perry quickly recovers to half guard. Miyagi wants to stand up but Perry has a hold of him and won't allow it. Perry gets back to full guard.
Perry looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Perry pulls Miyagi in close to prevent any damage. Perry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Master Miyagi has got the better of the ground game so far. Miyagi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Miyagi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry has a closed guard, preventing Miyagi from standing up. Miyagi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Perry controls Miyagi momentarily but Miyagi frees himself. Miyagi slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Perry. Miyagi prevents Perry from standing back up.
Perry manages to get to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miyagi wants to control from the top but Perry keeps moving. Miyagi is in close to Perry's body, working some short punches and elbows. Miyagi advances position into side control! Miyagi scores with a couple of short elbows. Perry tries to escape but Miyagi is in control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Miyagi connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Perry some visible discomfort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Miyagi decides to stand back up. Miyagi steps back and let's Perry get back to his feet. Miyagi shoots in and bounces Perry off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miyagi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Miyagi wants to pass the guard but Perry is keeping the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Perry keeping moving, preventing Miyagi from controlling successfully. Perry is looking for a triangle but Miyagi pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Master Miyagi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Miyagi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Miyagi wants to take a breather but Perry is having none of it. Perry is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Miyagi pulls his head out easily. Miyagi not doing much here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Master Miyagi. No luck with that takedown attempt from Miyagi. Miyagi shoots in looking for a takedown. Perry tries to sprawl out of it but Miyagi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perry manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Miyagi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Perry but Perry pushes him off and we're back to square one. Freeman Perry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Master Miyagi. Miyagi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Miyagi shoots for a double leg takedown but Perry sprawls well. He's pushed Miyagi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Miyagi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch combination from Miyagi misses. Miyagi blocks a leg kick. Miyagi tries to keep at a distance but Perry has taken the fight into the clinch. Miyagi is trying to trip Perry. He has hold of a leg but Perry is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Miyagi persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Perry working for a triangle but Miyagi defends it easily.
Perry can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Miyagi controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miyagi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Miyagi wants to control from the top but Perry keeps moving. Perry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Perry trying to control the position here. Perry is looking for a triangle but Miyagi pushes his legs off easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Miyagi wants to pass the guard but Perry is keeping the position. Miyagi stays in close to Perry's body and controls the position. Miyagi wants to control from the top but Perry keeps moving. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Miyagi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Perry is keeping the position for now.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Master Miyagi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Perry tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And that's the end of the fight! Master Miyagi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Miyagi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
