Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Caisse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Had Enough-Breaking Benjamin. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Caisse!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caisse looks for a takedown but Johnson sprawls well.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Caisse working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Caisse is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Caisse has Johnson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Caisse pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Johnson tumbling to the mat - Caisse dives into Johnson's guard.
Caisse looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Caisse postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Johnson is working an open guard so Caisse takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Caisse circles away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Caisse pushes him off.
Crunch! Johnson slams his shin into Caisse's torso.
Caisse fails to land the takedown.

Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Caisse paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Johnson throws a head kick that half lands.
Johnson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Caisse pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Caisse has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.
Caisse changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Johnson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Justin Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jean Caisse.

Caisse moves into the clinch.

Caisse gets control of Johnson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Caisse will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Caisse shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Caisse looks winded!
Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Caisse defends it nicely.
Caisse throws a left and a right that both miss
and Johnson counters with a two punch combo.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Johnson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Caisse.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Johnson.

Johnson rushes Caisse and presses him up against the cage.

Caisse jumps guard.
Caisse is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Caisse is proving hard to escape from.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Caisse throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Caisse pushes Johnson up against the cage in a clinch.

Johnson is trying to maintain a safe position but Caisse gets an underhook and turns Johnson into the cage.

Caisse tightens his grip and picks Johnson up, before dumping him to the ground. Johnson manages to land in guard.

Johnson wanted to stand there but Caisse had control of the position.

Caisse is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Johnson to keep the fight standing.

Johnson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Caisse takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Johnson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Caisse blocks it with crossed arms.
Johnson tries to pull guard but Caisse forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Caisse breaks the clinch.
Some wild striking there from Caisse.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Caisse napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Johnson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Johnson cracks Caisse with a big right hand but Caisse just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Johnson wants to control but Caisse is keeping him busy.
Caisse is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Johnson is controlling him well.

Caisse bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Johnson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Caisse.

Caisse shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Caisse working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Caisse prevents Johnson from standing back up.
Johnson tries to get to full guard but Caisse has control of the leg.

Caisse lands with a punch from half guard.
Caisse seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Caisse has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Johnson defend it? Caisse steps over the head and cranks it - Johnson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Caisse!

Jean Caisse was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
