Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tra Fulton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulton tries to clinch there but King circles away.
Fulton could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Fulton takes the fight into the clinch.

Fulton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A punch lands to the side of Fulton 's head but he takes it in his stride.
King swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fulton wants to clinch.
King avoids a punch combination nicely.
King digs a good body shot into Fulton's ribs.
Fulton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but King paws at him with a jab and circles away.

King misses with the combination.

and King counters with a nice kick to the body.
Fulton is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Tra Fulton has been cut.
King throws an elbow but Fulton slips to the side and avoids it well.

Fulton manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
King keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Fulton is not content to let King control the position.
Fulton wants to improve his position but King is controlling well.
Fulton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
King must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
King postures up in Fulton's guard and throws a big left but Fulton blocks it.

King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fulton swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
King falls off balance throwing a combination

and Fulton counters with a shoot takedown. King fights it but they end up in guard.
Fulton controls from within his opponent's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fulton is looking to work some ground and pound but King has wrist control.

Fulton drops back looking for a leg! King is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and King manages to kick Fulton off! Fulton jumps back into King's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Fulton is looking to clinch but King is avoiding it.
King looks to score with a jab to the body but Fulton is just out of range.

King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fulton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fulton is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

King tries to bum rush Fulton with a series of wild strikes but Fulton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fulton throws a right hand that King ducks under and follows up with a left that King also avoids with ease.

Fulton ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fulton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fulton is on top in guard.
King can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fulton controls the pace.
