Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Barry Barrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barrow is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Steven Lewis looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barry Barrow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steven Lewis! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Barrow with a poor takedown and Lewis counters by clinching up. Lewis looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Barrow can't break the clinch.
Barrow wants to break free but Lewis has control.

Barry Barrow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steven Lewis. Lewis is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Barrow can't fight it off and eventually Lewis manages to take the fight to the floor. Barrow looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lewis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lewis stands up over Barrow, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Lewis prevents Barrow from getting back to his feet. Lewis throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lewis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lewis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Barrow works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lewis connects with a couple of short punches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Barrow wants to stand up but Lewis is controlling him. Lewis content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Barrow utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lewis prevents Barrow from getting back to his feet. Lewis postures up and lands a big shot to Barrow's brow. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lewis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lewis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Barrow's head. Lewis scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Lewis working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis is working Barrow over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lewis postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Lewis cracks Barrow with a solid left hand. Lewis postures up in Barrow's guard and throws a big left but Barrow blocks it. Barrow wants to stand and escape but Lewis is having none of it. Barrow will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lewis missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lewis throwing strikes from guard but Barrow blocks nicely. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lewis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Barrow wants to get back to his feet but Lewis is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steven Lewis dominated that round. That's time! Barrow's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Barrow tries to clinch up. Barrow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lewis avoids it really well and circles away. Barrow tries for a takedown but Lewis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barrow closes the distance and clinches up with Lewis, looking for a takedown. Barrow pushes Lewis against the cage but Lewis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barry Barrow. That's going to take a lot out of him. Barrow shoots in for a double leg but Lewis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Barrow fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lewis leaves Barrow with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barrow doesn't manage to clinch there - Lewis circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Barrow looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Barrow tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lewis defends well and Barrow ends up having to push Lewis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Barrow stops a takedown attempt from Lewis.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lewis is trying to drag Barrow to the mat but Barrow just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Barry Barrow will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Lewis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barrow. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barrow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lewis sprawls well. Lewis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barrow gets slowly back to his feet. Barry Barrow is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Barrow fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barry Barrow. That's going to take a lot out of him. Barrow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lewis pinned against the cage. Lewis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis stuffs the takedown attempt from Barrow. Barrow gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lewis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Barrow shoots in for a takedown but Lewis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Barry Barrow showed his dominance in that final round. I think Barrow has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
