Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stefan Massey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sergey Chernjavskiy! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chernjavskiy moves to clinch but Massey breaks away and Massey counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Chernjavskiy! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The referee asks Massey politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Massey prefers to stall for the moment though. Chernjavskiy wants to get back to his feet but Massey is dominant here and he's now got Chernjavskiy's back! A bit of a pause in the action here. Massey controlling the positon. Massey scores with punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chernjavskiy defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Massey is persistently looking for the submission but Chernjavskiy is defending it well.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Massey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chernjavskiy holding both Massey 's hands and preventing any damage. Chernjavskiy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Massey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Massey working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Massey softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Massey looking for the choke from the back. Massey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Massey looking for the RNC. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Massey has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Chernjavskiy's body.

Chernjavskiy wants to clinch and Massey counters with a nice body kick. A head kick misses from Chernjavskiy. Chernjavskiy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chernjavskiy closes the distance looking to clinch and Massey moves into the clinch. Chernjavskiy wants to break the clinch but can't.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Massey fails to pull guard.
Massey gets control of Chernjavskiy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Massey will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Massey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chernjavskiy's guard. Massey pushes down on Chernjavskiy's leg and manages to get into half guard. Massey is taking a breather. Chernjavskiy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Massey looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Chernjavskiy is breathing heavily. Massey looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Massey works his way into side control. Chernjavskiy takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Massey is trying to get an arm triangle but Chernjavskiy is defending well. Massey takes a little break here. Chernjavskiy wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chernjavskiy on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Massey is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Chernjavskiy has escaped the position, nice work there. Massey is putting a hurting on Chernjavskiy here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Massey slows the pace down. Massey has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Massey is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Chernjavskiy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stefan Massey dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Massey closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Massey is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Chernjavskiy sees it coming and defends easily. Massey trying to control the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Stefan Massey. Chernjavskiy tries to clinch up. Massey manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Chernjavskiy on his heels. He'll look to pass Chernjavskiy's guard now, I'm sure. Chernjavskiy takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Massey wants to stand but Chernjavskiy is controlling his posture from full guard. Massey is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Chernjavskiy has momentary wrist control but Massey slips an elbow through the middle. Massey sitting in guard here, content to control.
Stefan Massey has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Chernjavskiy fails in his attempt to clinch. Massey shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Massey showed some decent athleticism there.
Chernjavskiy is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Massey lands a big elbow - Chernjavskiy is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Massey!
