Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick stuffs the takedown attempt from Wood. Wood gets slowly back to his feet.
Wood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quick tries to avoid it but Wood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quick to the ground. Quick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wood closes the distance and clinches.
Quick is trying to pull guard but Wood turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Quick is trying to force a seperation but Wood has the dominant position.
Quick working hard to break the clinch.
Quick wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Wood manages to break the clinch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Quick.

Wood closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Quick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Quick wants to stand but Wood has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Wood is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Quick is trying to escape back to his feet but Wood uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Wood content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Wood could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wood connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Quick some visible discomfort.
Wood has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wood moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Wood clinches up with Quick and pushes him back against the cage.
Quick is looking to break free of the clinch but Wood has double underhooks.
Quick is trying to push Wood away but Wood has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wood holds on and takes a little breather.
Wood has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Wood is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Quick as he jumps to the side.

Israel Wood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A bone on bone clash there as Quick blocks the leg kick.

Quick has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wood is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We've been informed that Quick has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Quick really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wood has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Wood lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Quick!

Wood takes Quick's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Quick is in trouble.
Wood is working for a rear naked choke. Quick is not defending it well and Wood has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Quick refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Quick's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
