Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killer Claude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claude drives through and clinches with Patrick against the cage.
Claude manages to break the clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Claude.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Claude breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Patrick looks for a takedown but Claude sprawls well.
Claude lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Patrick backs up against the cage.

Claude throws a nice looking combination but Patrick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Patrick shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Claude's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Patrick looking to sit in guard and control but Claude gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Patrick has a closed guard, preventing Claude from standing up.
Patrick had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Claude is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Patrick Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Claude's back instead.
Patrick lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Patrick gets his hands free as Claude looks to control.
Claude controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Claude is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Patrick has his arm under Claude's chin here. Game over son! Patrick squeezes tightly and Claude is forced to tap out!
