Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trey Trenton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Kampemann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trey Trenton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Kampemann!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trenton misses with a double jab.
Trenton throws a nice looking combination but Kampemann bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Trenton misses with a straight right.
Kampemann throws a sloppy head kick and Trenton moves out of range easily.

Kampemann shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kampemann is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Kampemann is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kampemann looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Trenton looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kampemann is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Martin Kampemann.
Trenton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kampemann swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kampemann avoids a punch combination nicely.
Trenton throws a body punch but Kampemann moves out of range.
Trenton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kampemann circles away quickly and effectively.

Kampemann throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Trenton was covering up waiting for the punch and Kampemann finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kampemann controls from within his opponent's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kampemann stops Trenton from standing up.
Trenton is breathing heavily.

Kampemann gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Kampemann moves into the clinch.

Kampemann manages to break the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut there from Trenton.
Kampemann throws a right and a left that both miss.
Trenton takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Kampemann rushes Trenton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kampemann misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Trenton.
Trenton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kampemann has him pressed against the cage.

Kampemann breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Trey Trenton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trenton misses with a two punch combination.
Kampemann's corner calls for a 1-2. Kampemann obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Kampemann counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kampemann.
Trenton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kampemann controls the pace.
Kampemann's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Martin Kampemann.
Kampemann scores with a shot to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kampemann closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Trenton quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martin Kampemann dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Trenton wants to clinch.
Trenton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kampemann sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Kampemann dives in and scores a takedown into Trenton's guard.
Kampemann is stalling in the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Martin Kampemann hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Trenton throws a right and a left that both miss.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kampemann shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kampemann showed some decent athleticism there.
Kampemann not doing much here.

Kampemann in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Trenton tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kampemann!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Martin Kampemann!
As Martin Kampemann got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: im back..after two years layoff i felt stronger then ever.'.
