Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Campbell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Marek Koltun! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Campbell lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Koltun has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Koltun and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Koltun crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Campbell - the referee stops the clock and Koltun gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Campbell. Koltun manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A jab from Koltun does it's job there. Nice uppercut lands for Koltun. That snapped Campbell's head back.
Campbell looks to land a body kick but Koltun moved away. Campbell misses with a low kick. Campbell takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Koltun throws a lazy uppercut
and Campbell counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Campbell wants to clinch. Koltun throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Koltun ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Campbell moves away. Campbell throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Marek Koltun has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Campbell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Koltun manages to avoid it. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Koltun has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Campbell moves into the clinch successfully.
Koltun is pushing Campbell up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Campbell misses with a body punch.

Campbell scores with an uppercut up the middle. Koltun blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Campbell using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Koltun has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Campbell passes Koltun's left leg - he's now in half guard. Koltun is looking to improve his position.
Campbell is looking to take a break and control but Koltun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Campbell wants to free his trapped foot but Koltun is holding on for dear life with his legs. Koltun is refusing to be controlled, as Campbell sits in half guard. Koltun is looking for a sweep. Campbell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Campbell looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Campbell is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Koltun has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Campbell scoring with strikes to the body and head. Campbell looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Campbell is trying to control. Koltun wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Campbell prevents Koltun from improving his position. Campbell trying to control the action but Koltun is working from the bottom. Koltun won't allow Campbell to pass to mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Campbell is trying to control the action in half guard but Koltun is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. We've been hearing good reports from Campbell's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Campbell is pressing down on Koltun's thigh, looking to free his foot. Koltun is holding on for now. Campbell is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Koltun connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Koltun misses the jab. Koltun tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Koltun lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Campbell at a distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Campbell. Koltun does a little dance to reset his feet. Campbell takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A clash of legs there as Campbell blocks the low kick. Koltun jabbing away but nothing is landing. Koltun cracks Campbell with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Campbell throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Campbell looking to land some kicks to the body here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Koltun takes a shot right to the bread basket. Campbell throws the kick towards the body but Koltun avoids it. Campbell does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Koltun pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Campbell throws a looping overhand right but Koltun ducks down to avoid it. Koltun throws a right and a left that Campbell avoids nicely. Campbell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Koltun manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Koltun lands a nice leg kick that just misses Campbell's sensitive parts. Koltun closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Campbell's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Campbell not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Koltun accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Campbell is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Campbell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Koltun defends well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Koltun throws an elbow that misses. Campbell uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Koltun's guard. Nice move by Campbell! Koltun not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Koltun is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Campbell is looking to pass into half guard but Koltun pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Koltun is in guard.

Koltun lands a couple of digs. Campbell keeping moving, preventing Koltun from controlling successfully. Koltun is working Campbell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Campbell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Koltun is one step ahead there. Campbell trying to keep a closed guard but Koltun is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koltun trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Campbell is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Koltun is aware though and is defending well. Campbell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Campbell working for a triangle but Koltun defends it easily.

Marek Koltun showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Marek Koltun's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Campbell tries to clinch up but Koltun circles away and keeps his distance. A head kick misses from Campbell. Koltun connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Koltun defending well as Campbell loads up on a big left hand. Campbell misses the jab. Campbell takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Koltun lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. A momentary lapse in concentration from Campbell enables Koltun to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Campbell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Campbell pulls Koltun in close to prevent any damage. Campbell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Koltun is one step ahead there. Koltun drops back, looking for a kneebar! Campbell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Campbell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Campbell!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Campbell thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Koltun wants to control but Campbell postures up. Campbell wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Koltun, who protects the arm well. Campbell working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Koltun manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
And that's the end of the fight! Marek Koltun comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Koltun has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
