Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Brian Backscratcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamal Jordan! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Backscratcher avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A combination from Backscratcher does no damage. A looping hook to the body misses from Jordan. Backscratcher does a little dance to reset his feet. Jordan slips a jab from Backscratcher. Jordan moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Jordan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Jordan looks to score with a jab to the body but Backscratcher is just out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Backscratcher doesn't manage to clinch there - Jordan circles away.
Jordan pushes Backscratcher away with a front kick. Jordan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Backscratcher is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Brian Backscratcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jordan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Backscratcher has time to react. Backscratcher shoots in for a takedown and gets it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Backscratcher is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jordan sees it coming and defends easily. Jordan pushes Backscratcher off looking to stand but Backscratcher dives back in and keeps control.
Backscratcher is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jordan has managed to free his arm - good work. Jordan is trying to stand back up but Backscratcher is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round. Backscratcher is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Backscratcher trying to control from half guard but Jordan is working away. Jordan wants to get back to full guard. Backscratcher seems to be working for a kimura but Jordan defends the submission attempt. Jordan flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Jordan wants to get back to his feet. Backscratcher looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Backscratcher is working for a submission of some sort.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Backscratcher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jordan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Backscratcher. Backscratcher wants to work for an arm triangle but Jordan is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan kicks off Backscratcher and gets to his feet. Backscratcher displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Jamal Jordan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jordan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jordan tries to close the distance and clinch but Backscratcher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jordan misses with the combination.
Jordan with a body punch. A glancing blow. Backscratcher cracks Jordan on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jordan falls backwards against the cage. Backscratcher follows up with more strikes that drop Jordan to his knees. Backscratcher keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jordan! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brian Backscratcher! Brian Backscratcher seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
