Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kareem Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Czemp Kozak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kareem Evans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Czemp Kozak! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Evans swings for the body but Kozak moves out of range.
Kozak fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Evans drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Evans controlling the position. Evans scores with punches from side control. Evans tries to advance to mount but Kozak denies him. Evans wants to stand but Kozak is controlling his arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kozak seems a little lost for a moment, as Evans dominates the positioning. Evans tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kozak's legs. Kozak throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Kozak fails with the takedown. Evans on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kozak. Kozak obviously looking to wear him down.
Kozak gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so Evans counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kareem Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Czemp Kozak.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans wanted to stand there but Kozak had control of the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Evans is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Evans wants to get up but he can't break Kozak's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kozak can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Evans controls the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kareem Evans wasn't doing enough on the ground. Evans gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evans is putting a hurting on Kozak here, landing some big shots from side control. Evans could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Kozak looks winded! Kozak is looking for a sweep. Evans is putting a hurting on Kozak here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Evans drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Evans sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kozak's guard. Evans with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kozak wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Evans drives through with a takedown into Kozak's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Evans tries to free his leg and advance position but Kozak is retaining full guard. Kozak looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Evans has picked Kozak up and slammed him! Kozak can't keep hold of the triangle and Evans manages to pass to side control! Evans tries for a kimura but Kozak is defending well. Evans is staying tight to Kozak's torso, preventing him from escaping. Evans has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kozak! Kozak is breathing heavily. Evans controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kozak is bucking up trying to escape but Evans cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Evans tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kozak is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kozak is desperately trying to improve his position but Evans has a good base and remains in mount. Evans takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Evans controlling his opponent. Kareem Evans dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kozak has an active guard here but Evans has managed to pass into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kozak is trying to stand back up but Evans is controlling him
Kozak takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Evans takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Evans looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Kareem Evans overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Evans passes to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans lands some shots froms side control. Evans tries to stand but Kozak is controlling his head. Evans trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Evans works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kozak wants to get back to his feet but Evans is dominant here and he's now got Kozak's back! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Evans is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Kozak is in a bad position with Evans working for a choke. Kozak manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. Evans is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Czemp Kozak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kareem Evans is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kozak wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Kareem Evans showed his dominance in that final round. Well Evans has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
