Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brian Serrano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Diggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diggins has chosen Bonfire as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Franklin Diggins acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Franklin Diggins! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Serrano forces Diggins back against the cage and clinches. Serrano is trying to pull guard but Diggins has him pressed against the cage. Diggins prevents a takedown attempt there.
Diggins lands a nice elbow. Diggins tries to land a knee to the head but Serrano blocks with his arms.
Serrano wants to take the fight to the mat but Diggins manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Serrano. After the fight, Franklin Diggins was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
