Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zachariah Newman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Glenn Robson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robson fails to land the takedown.
Robson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Robson shoots in and drives through. Newman sprawls well.
Newman dives in for a single leg takedown but Robson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Robson pulls guard effortlessly.
Newman wants to control from the top but Robson keeps moving.
Newman pushing down on Robson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Newman sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Robson is positioning himself well to prevent Newman advancing to mount.
Newman works his way into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Robson can't do much from the bottom here.
Robson stops Newman from passing to mount.
Robson is trying to work for a sweep but Newman has mounted him!
Robson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Newman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Newman prevents Robson from getting the reversal.
Newman misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Newman throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Robson because Newman loaded up on that one.
Robson regains half guard.
Robson is refusing to be controlled, as Newman sits in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Newman trying to pass the guard but Robson defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robson wants to control but Newman is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Newman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Robson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Newman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Newman prevents Robson from improving his position.
Robson trying to get back to full guard but Newman takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Robson reaches up to try and pull Newman in and control his posture, but Newman latches on to an arm and pivots quickly for an armbar! Robson taps out and this one is all over!
