Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Cabreros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Shield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cabreros kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Love is what i got. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Shield!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabreros takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Shield throws a combination that misses
and Cabreros cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cabreros dodges the punch combination from Shield.
Shield keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Shield loads up on a big right hand but Cabreros slips the punch.
Shield tries to land a front kick but Cabreros steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Shield lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cabreros scores with a leg kick.
Cabreros connects with a good right hand that stumbles Shield. Shield circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Shield throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Cabreros blocks a leg kick.
Cabreros moves out of range of the strikes.
Shield walks into a left hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jab, jab by Cabreros - just one landing.
A head kick misses from Shield.
An inside leg kick lands from Cabreros.
Cabreros lands a glancing blow to the side of Shield's head.
Shield loads up on a big right hand but Cabreros slips the punch.
Cabreros missing with a left hand there. Shield was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cabreros throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Shield on the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cabreros connects with the punch.
Shield cracks Cabreros with a right hand to the side of the head.
Shield waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cabreros.
Cabreros throws a nice outside leg kick.
Shield throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shield takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cabreros uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Shield.
Cabreros bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Shield takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Shield pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Shield throws a right and a left that both miss.
Shield feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cabreross jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shield throws a lazy right hand but Cabreros sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Shield throws a head kick but Cabreros moves out of range.
Cabreros has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Cabreros with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Shield throws a jab but it's blocked by Cabreros.
Cabreros listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Shield catches Cabreros with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cabreros lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Shield is rocked!
Cabreros throws an overhand right that drops Shield like a sack of potatoes! Cabreros dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Cabreros!
Peter Cabreros seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
